We welcome the National Concert Chorus under the direction of GRAMMY Award Recipient, Jeffery Redding (University of Central Florida). Dr. Redding will lead the chorus through a thematic program of hand-selected choral pieces.
This program opens by showcasing choral music's beauty and diversity while highlighting the importance of spirituality and community. The collection of these works is programmed in a powerful and moving way, conveying the music’s emotion and including a world-premiere from acclaimed composer Darius Lim. The second half of our program features acclaimed guest conductor/composer, Tom Shelton, and treble choruses from across the country come together to create an unforgettable performance filled with musical artistry and visual projections. Audiences have never seen a choral concert like this before. A performance at Carnegie Hall made even more inimitable in this one-time collaboration.
