National Concerts Light Beyond Shadow poster

LIGHT BEYOND SHADOW

Behold! A new beginning is here. The past has been left behind. See how everything old has become new. A path will be forged in the wilderness and rivers will flow in the desert. Let go of the past, and embrace the new.

I savor the flavors of the world, seeking out spice and sharpness wherever I go. I chase after the excitement of new experiences, following the winding path of life wherever it takes me. I long for a place that is both familiar and new, a place where I can embrace the bittersweet of life’s transitions. I remember the warmth of your hand, the kindness in your voice and the honesty in your eyes. When I close my eyes, I think back on the time we spent together and the music we shared. The end of the music is not the end of our relationship. Just as the music lives on, so will the memory of you live on in my heart.

As I move forward, step by step, I am filled with a sense of longing that is both painful and beautiful. This longing is the only space that I will ever truly occupy, the only constant in an ever-changing world
